Sir William Hill Mast.
Sir William Hill is home to a massive communications mast and as such can be seen from a large area of this central part of the Peak District. It sits on the edge of Eyam Moor, which is a high area situated above Eyam and Grindleford. The views are good especially towards the Stanage and Burbage areas. The walk up Sir William Hill and back is short so this walk includes a walk down to Stoke Ford and then back to Sir William Hill

Magpie Mine.
This is a walk through an interesting part of the White Peak. The walk starts at Ashford in the Water and climbs through thepaths to the high fields. From here the route takes us towards Monsal Head, but just short the walk goes down the Monsal Dale weir. A walk down Monsal Dale in the trees is followed by a walk up Deep Dale which is more open. Then there is the climbback up to Sheldon village and onto Magpie Mine. This mine isin a good state and great to walk around. Then it is back down to Ashford.

lathkill Dale
Lathkill Dale runs from below Over Haddon up to Monyash. The lower part is heavily wooded and a protected wildlife area. The route walks through the dale first through the woods, then the scenery opens out as the route continues to the village of Monyash. The return is along the Limestone way to reach the southern branch of the dale and then back through the dale. Lathkill Dale was an industrialised valley earlier in its history and evidence of the works can clearly be seen as the route climbs up through the dale.

Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill
Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill are the Dragon Back; steep and craggy hills and are really impressive from afar. This is a great walk around these hills on good paths, with the ascent of Chrome Hill, and maybe Parkhouse Hill, is an adventure. The area is within limestone area and the rocks can be slippy.
